Lamb Shoulder Chops Recipe

Lamb Shoulder Chops are delicious and so juicy when prepared the right way. This recipe is easy and will guarantee you the best lamb shoulder chops you ever had. This recipe will pair well with any sides of your choice and can be made in the oven or even on the grill. You can also use regular lamb chops instead of lamb shoulders if you like.

This recipe will be prepared within 30 minutes (prep time included)

Ingredients

For Sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp A1 sauce (bold & spicy)
  • 1 tbsp honey

Directions

  1. Season lamb shoulders both sides with seasonings and a drizzle of oil
  2. Add all the ingredients to a bowl for sauce and mix together. Set aside for later use
  3. Add 2 tbsp oil to hot skillet and allow oil to get hot on high flame
  4. Add seasoned lamb shoulders and sear 5-7 minutes per side (ensure not to overcrowd pot, do 2 bathes if needed)
  5. Within 3 minutes of searing, add garlic and thyme to skillet
  6. On the last 3 minutes of cooking, add butter and baste lamb shoulder continuously
  7. Remove lamb shoulder and set aside on a plate to rest
  8. To the same skillet, add sauce and bring to a simmer on low flame for 5 minutes
  9. Add lamb chops to sauce and cook in sauce for around 4 mins, basting continuously
  10. Serve with desired sides.
