Hawaiian Roll French Toast is the breakfast of your dreams. Super crispy on the edges and so fluffy on the inside. Topped with your favorite berries and drizzles of maple or pancake syrup. You can also add some Cream Cheese Frosting on top, or even stuff these rolls with it to elevate this dish. You can find my Cream Cheese Frosting recipe on my Viral TikTok Cinnamon Roll Recipe.
I also used a little bit of Buttery Cinnamon Roll Seasoning which added so much more flavor to these French Toast rolls. This seasoning is optional, as regular ground cinnamon will do the job, but if you do have this seasoning by chance then don’t hesitate to add it to your mixture. I added the link below the image of the seasoning so you can check it out if you would like to!
BUTTERY CINNAMON ROLL SEASONING
Things Needed to Make Hawaiian Roll French Toasts
- Hawaiian Rolls- I used Kings Hawaiian Rolls for this recipe, but of course any brand will work. This recipe can also be used for regular bread.
- Milk– Very important in any French Toast recipe, it adds moisture and prevents it from becoming rubbery. Milk also gives the French Toast a great texture. You can substitute Half and Half if you like.
- Eggs- Eggs along with milk are the two most important ingredients when making French Toast. Eggs add a lot of richness and helps the French Toast to get that crispy texture.
- Butter– Everything is always better with butter! Butter is optional when making your French Toast, but I believe it gives a better flavor than cooking with oil.
- Seasonings- Vanilla Extract, Ground Cinnamon and a pinch of salt goes a longer way than you think when making French Toast. Using theses spices can be optional but trust me when I say you will not regret it.
- Sugar- Brown or granulated sugar can be used.
