Honey Garlic Chicken is one of my favorite foods to make at home when I want to skip take out. I decided to make it with whole pieces of chicken, instead of cutting it into chunks which I would normally do. These Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs are so tender and succulent, and will have dinner ready in less than 30 minutes.

Tips on making Honey Garlic Chicken

I used chicken thighs for this recipe because they’re more flavorful and cooks better, but chicken breast can be substituted for this recipe. Keep in mind that the cooking time will be less if chicken breast is used. This recipe can also be made in the oven by adding chicken and sauce to baking dish and cook covered for around 15 minutes. To get seared look on chicken, broil on low for 5-7 minutes uncovered.

What to serve with Honey Garlic Chicken

These Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs are perfectly paired with white rice or Lo Mein. Mashed potatoes can even be served with this dish. The best thing about this dish is the delicious sauce which can be saved for any meat or fish, I have a Honey Garlic Salmon recipe if you would like to skip the chicken,
