Teriyaki Drumstick Recipe

 5-7 chicken legs
 1 tbsp paprika
 1 tbsp garlic powder
 1 tsp ground ginger or ginger paste
 2 tbsp adobo all purpose
 pinch of salt
Teriyaki Sauce
 3 tbsp brown sugar
 1 cup soy sauce
 2 cups of water
 1/4 cup rice vinegar (optional)
 1/4 cup honey
 1 tsp ginger paste (ground ginger can be substituted)
 2 cloves garlic (minced)

Clean and wash chicken lime/lemon and cool running water (or as preferred)

Add seasonings to drumstick along with sesame oil. Set aside to marinate for as long as you like

To a large hot skillet, add oil. Once oil s hot add drumsticks and sear for 5-7 mins per side

While chicken is cooking, add all the ingredients for teriyaki glaze to a bowl and mix well

Once drumsticks are seared, pour sauce in, lower flame and cook for 20 mins, checking occasionally.

Flip drumsticks and cook for 10 more mins. If water has reduced too much, add 1/2 cup hot water and cont. cooking.

If sauce is not thick enough for your liking, you can make a cornstarch slurry by adding a tsp of cornstarch to 2 tsp water. Slowly add this to sauce while mixing. This should thicken sauce.
